Cousins

So it was Ethan's 1st Birthday last weekend and the two smaller ones came to his party. It was at the park so the kids had a great time. Ethan and Jagger are only 2 months apart. He is such a cutie!
We were missing to other cousins we wish Noah and Isabella were there to make it complete, hint hint (road trip, yep trying again)

So I went back to Sirens with more of my stuff (Shona and Camille are so nice!), anyways I had
8 bibs
5 crayon rolls
3 silverware rolls
1 treasure bag

THAT BOUGHT IT ALL!!!
I love this it just inspires me to do more!
I love making things and people want to take it home with them and use them.

It was just like Kindergarten

Well today is Brandi's first day as a senior in high school. It was sad for me knowing that she is all grown up now. She left for school like she did for kindergarten,
B:"bye mom"
Me: "have a good day, I can't believe you are a senior now"
B: "I know bye"
Me: "love you"
B: "love you too."

She didn't miss her mom on the first day of school and she didn't miss me today, haha

It's official

I am retired from doing nails.

For real this time, other than the occasional trades now and then.

After 19 years, carpal tunnel in both hands, great people, great conversations,great co workers I have to say "I'm done".

It's taken a toll on my hands and I can't afford to be somewhat disabled for the rest of my life, so I have chosen to stop aggravating my wrists and call it quits.

I will miss it, I will always love doing nails and being around the salon.

So I went into one of our local shops, Pedro Point Sirens today to meet with the owners to see if they wanted to carry my items in their shop. I had some blankets, bibs, crayon rolls, and a silverware roll. They are a shop that carries coastal cultured gifts owned by two sister who are so nice and down to earth, they bought all of my ocean motif items! I am on top of the world, grinning from ear to ear! I can't wait to make more now! woooohhhaahooooooooo
Had to scream and now I gotta go because I have to sew my heart out.
