My House
I have mixed feelings about going and seeing my home. I miss the house and my furniture and the space, but I like to be near the beach and lots of shopping and different kinds of food. There are no Christmas lights, no tree, no holiday smells in my house. I have already detached myself from my home, we'll see how it goes. It's just 4 days. Who knows, I will have cocktails with my neighbors and I will forget about my mixed feelings! The Ganozas are coming to town time for jello shots, Joeys mixed drinks, & green chili & cream cheese won tons ( OK no won tons the deep fryer is packed). See you soon .........

I can relate, a year after we moved out of Kaneohe, we were back in Hawaii for a visit. It was the strangest feeling to walk right past my 'former front door'. I was sad, but not... at the same time. Had feelings of loss, and joy.. again, at the same time. Green chili & cream cheese won tons sound soooo good. I've had just cream cheese won tons... but green chili... nice twist. You should post the recipe.. hint hint.. =)
the thing about green chili is you have to get the fresh roasted ones from ABQ it comes once a year. In ABQ you buy a big bag have them roast it and then you peel them and put them in bags in the freezer till you need them. I am picking up my chili when I go back to ABQ I'll see what I can do to send you a bag, it's pretty yummy. You know us it's the hot not mild chili :) Oh you just mix the diced up green chili with cream cheese and fold the won ton wrappers and fry up. Joey likes it with sweet and sour sauce to dip.
